Basics of Quality Management

This course reviews the concepts and techniques for managing, controlling and improving quality and includes the quality management guiding principles of leadership commitment, customer focus, employee involvement/teamwork, continuous process improvement, and the systematic use of measurement data. The primary purpose of this course is to equip employees from all types of businesses with the basic body of knowledge of TQM and introduce them to some of the soft components and methods and techniques for the improvement of quality and overall operational performance.
